Membership

Bonafide membership shall be by the completion of registration formalities, payment of annual membership subscription (installments available) with other financial levies, and the attendance of the Association meetings.

Membership Eligibility

Membership of the Association shall be opened to a UK resident, who is an indigene of Ikorodu Town by birth, to at least one parent who is a native of Ikorodu Town.

Membership Application Procedures

  1. Complete and submit the online Application form.
  2. Undergo Admission Process.
  3. Obtain governing documents.

Who is eligible to apply for the membership of the Association?

Membership of the Association shall be open to a UK resident, who is an indigene of Ikorodu Town, by birth, to at least one parent, who is a native of Ikorodu town.

What are the financial commitments of membership?

The annual (January – December) membership subscription fees of £100 is payable per member; in one lump sum or on installments.

Where there is a “couple” membership, the Annual (January – December) membership subscription fees shall be £150 for both of them.

Other financial commitments of membership include voluntary donations and petty levies when the need arises.

What are the membership admission procedures?

The admission procedures are mainly by the submission of completed membership application form, undergo Admission Process and the receipt of the Association’s governing documents (Constitution and Code of Conduct). Our governing documents, are the supreme documents outlining the binding principles of proper administration, rules and regulations, code of ethics etc.

What are the frequency and duration of meetings?

The Association’s General Meeting are held once in two months (Click to see meeting schedule) in a formal setting with adequate menu provision.

Is there any age restriction for a prospective member?

Membership is open to adults (18 years and above).
